ACTIVITIES

For our warm ups we did sequences that warmed up all parts of our body such as the spinning box sequence and also tested our balance and flexibility by balancing on our tippy toes with both feet and then our left foot then right and finishing it wth our eyes closed. This tested our balance and was great difficulty to focus and stayed balanced. we also tested our strengths by doing plank in the front and right and left to see our strength. Continuing these exercises as well as others will strengthen our muscles and help us dance better.

We talked about balance, flexibility, worked on our body skills, body awareness and also touched on the bones in our body briefly. I believe constant practice will help me learn what the bones in our body are called.

SAFE DANCE PRACTICE BODY INTELLIGENCE

Body types was a subject we talked about and learnt whether our bones are small to large or fragile, how developed out muscles are and whether we gain weight easily. We also looked at our different body shape and how long our limbs are and i found out that my build is long limbs and a shorter torso aswell as low fat storage and good muscular endurance.
